Terms of Service

Last updated 16 September 2026.

This describes the terms that actually apply to using Boneyard Exchange, based on how the site works today. It's provided as general information, not legal advice — if you have specific legal questions, you should seek independent legal advice.

What Boneyard Exchange is

Boneyard Exchange is a listings marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of oilfield equipment, and buyers and providers of equipment hire and field services, primarily within Australia. We provide the platform where listings are posted, discovered and enquired about — we are not a party to any sale, hire agreement or service arrangement made between users, and we don't inspect, certify, warrant, insure or take possession of any equipment listed on the site.

Posting a listing

Fees and subscriptions

Transactions between users

Buying, hiring, arranging delivery, inspecting equipment, and agreeing on payment for the underlying item or service are all handled directly between the buyer and seller — Boneyard Exchange isn't involved in, doesn't process payment for, and takes no responsibility for the outcome of that transaction. We strongly recommend inspecting equipment and verifying a seller's credentials before agreeing to any purchase or hire, particularly for safety-critical oilfield equipment.

No warranty

Equipment and services listed on Boneyard Exchange are offered by third-party sellers "as is." We make no representation or warranty about the condition, safety, fitness for purpose, legality, or accuracy of any listing, and we aren't liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from equipment or services obtained through the site. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee that can't lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Acceptable use

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boneyard Exchange is provided "as is" and we aren't liable for disputes between users, the condition or performance of listed equipment or services, or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. If you have a dispute with another user, that dispute is between you and them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
